Newport News Police Department incident report, Nov. 12

The Newport News Police Department reported the following incidents Nov. 12:

Nathaniel Knight, 25, was arrested on a charge of public intoxication at 4:13 a.m. on Jefferson Avenue.

Danielle E. Rakes, 35, was arrested on a charge of attempted felony violation of the Virginia drug control act at 5:40 a.m. on 26th Street.

Larry W. Hearn, 24, was arrested on a charge of assault at 12:03 p.m. on Warwick Boulevard.

Clifford L. Rainier, 56, was arrested on a charge of public intoxication at 2:45 p.m. on Warwick Boulevard.

Mavis J. Stallings, 48, was arrested on a charge of public intoxication at 8:09 p.m. on Chestnut Avenue.

Adrian D. Jones, 43, was arrested on a charge of failure to return rental property at 9:04 p.m. on Forrest Drive.
