Feeding 5000 Thanksgiving Harvest and Community Celebration scheduled for Nov. 17
The Feeding 5000 Thanksgiving Harvest and Community Celebration, sponsored in part by Southeast Community Day Planning Committee, will be held Saturday, Nov. 17 at Farmer’s Market in Newport News.
The event will run from noon to 4 p.m.
According to the organization, "The event includes special guests the Heritage High School Marching Band 'The Storm,' from Newport News, Va., Divine Measures Band, Pentecostal Followers of Christ Choir from Suffolk, Va. and New Generation Marching Band from Portsmouth, Va."
Tickets are not required and the event is free.
Farmer’s Market is at 2801 Jefferson Ave., Newport News.
