About Bevins: Bevins is a 2008 graduate of Warwick High School, where he was a three-year letterwinner on the varsity football team. He was first-team All-District, first-team All-Region and second-team All-State in 2007 as a senior after going 11-for-13 on field goal attempts and averaging 40 yards per punt. He was third in kickoffs and eighth in field goals at the National Kicking Combine, and he was ranked 23rd in the country by scout.com. In 2006 as a junior, he was first-team All-District going seven-for-nine on field goals and averaging 36 yards per punt. Bevins was also a member of the soccer team earning All-District and All-Region recognition. Off the field, he was a three-time member of the school's A-B honor roll. The son of Michael and Kristine Bevins, of Newport News, Bevins is a sports management major.
